Image

NEW JOURNEY IN TOKYO

Finally I start writing my new updates in Tokyo. After travelling in Hokkaido, I headed to Tokyo on 1 May to start my new journey in Japan. It would be the last destination of my working holiday bucket lists. For the rest of 3 months in Japan, I'll stay in a guesthouse "TOKYO HUTTE",  a lovely place near to Skytree. I enjoyed the stay here with my new friends and dogs. They are こまめちゃん(Komame)とトン(Ton)ちゃん.

THE EARLY VISIT FOR SAKURA IN HOKKAIDO

A story of 絆きずな

Image
It's a big day for the people in Minami Furano. The town holds a party on March 11 every year for memorizing the value of "by your side絆". The sadness which brought from the massive earthquake in 2011 make people be more braver and stronger. That's the story! As you can see on the picture, there is a "絆きずな" presented on the mountain. The "50" means the ages of this town. We got together in the ski court and shared hot venison soup and waited for the firework to be lit. Everyone enjoyed this precious moments. And I was glad I was in this big party in my life as a Taiwanese where my country gave much of cares and love to the country when it need help. So proud of being here for experiencing so many stunning things.

BEAUTY IN BIEI HOKKAIDO

It has already been a month I stayed in Hokkaido, working in a restaurant located in "Minami Furano".  Everything is so different from the life in Kyoto. It's a tiny little town with only 2500 people. Though is small, everyone here is kind and friendly. The restaurant serves the best venison cuisine in the town, called "Nanpu curry". It was served with venision meat and curry on hot pot. Doesn't it look great? On my first off day, I went for a ski with my colleague near to our house. It was breathtaking when I saw this view at the top of the mountain. Can't believe my eyes...just like a fairy tale. Sometimes, I saw foxes when I was walking home. And these are their footsteps I caught one day night near to my house. Then, two days later, I saw them in person! How cute it was!
